Simpson University, established in 1921, is a private Christian liberal arts institution located in Redding, California. It offers over 25 undergraduate majors, including programs in business, English, history and political science, education, and nursing. The university also provides multiple graduate programs and houses the A.W. Tozer Theological Seminary.

Athletically, the Simpson Red Hawks compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), primarily within the California Pacific Conference.
