Scholarships at Schiller International University
The Academic Excellence Scholarship is a highly selective, merit-based award covering a 90% tuition reduction, limited to three recipients per year. It is aimed at first-year undergraduate applicants graduating from accredited International Schools with a CGPA of 3.8-4.0 (or equivalent) who also demonstrate strong extracurricular involvement and leadership. Because eligibility is explicitly tied to graduates of international school programs rather than a specific domestic school system, and Schiller campuses span Tampa, Madrid, Paris, and Heidelberg, the award is open to international undergraduate students studying at accredited international schools worldwide.
The Global Citizen Scholarship offers up to a 50% tuition reduction to undergraduate (first-year) and graduate applicants who demonstrate academic achievement or exceptional talent in areas such as arts, sports, sciences, or leadership. Schiller's own scholarship page sets out specific rates for international students who require a visa to study: 20% for visa-required students applying to the Tampa, Madrid, or Paris campuses (rising to up to 35% for the 2027 intake), and up to 50% for students at the Heidelberg campus or those who do not require a visa. This explicit visa-based tier structure confirms the award is open to, and designed around, international undergraduate applicants.
The Seeds of Peace Scholarship provides a 50% tuition reduction to undergraduate (first-year) and graduate students from countries or regions experiencing active or recent conflict, explicitly listed by Schiller as Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Palestine, and Lebanon. The scholarship is mission-driven, supporting students committed to promoting peace and intercultural understanding, and is available across all Schiller campuses including Distance Learning. Since eligibility is defined by nationality/origin from these non-US countries, it is inherently open to and targeted at international undergraduate students.
