JSU offers more than 100 bachelor's, master's, post-baccalaureate, and doctoral programs. The University is organized into five colleges: Arts, Humanities and Sciences; Business and Industry; Education & Professional Studies; Health Professions and Wellness; and Social and Behavioral Sciences.
The university’s large campus covers 459 acres. It includes modern classrooms, science labs, student housing, and activity centers. One of the most impressive buildings is the Houston Cole Library, a 13-floor library with more than 1.1 million books. It’s the tallest academic building in Alabama.
