The university runs a pre-master’s program for those wanting to progress to further study in business and law, and science and engineering. These programs are offered to international students through the University’s international study center, which has a community of more than 130 nationalities. A pre-master’s program prepares you with the knowledge, skills and language lessons you’ll need for your postgraduate qualification.

As well as the academic benefits of a pre-master’s program, you will also have access to the university’s Career Ahead program. This initiative gives you resources and time to develop your employability skills, ensuring you are fully equipped to succeed in your career.

Undergraduate pathway students

  • The University of Aberdeen is offering progression scholarships to students who achieve a grade B (equivalent to at least 68%) in their undergraduate pathway programme. This scholarship will be available up to the value of £2,500 each year of your undergraduate degree, following your transition to the University.
  • The scholarship is available to self-funded students at the International Study Centre, on any undergraduate pathway.
