St. Francis Xavier University (StFX) is located in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada, and is one of Canada’s oldest and most prestigious universities. StFX is home to 4,200 undergraduate students and is a small school offering small class sizes and a personalized approach. The University is organized into the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Education, and the Gerald Schwartz School of Business.
Nearly 90% of first-year students live on campus, which means students are welcomed into an immediate community of friends and peers. Their campus has a wide range of facilities, including a live theater, art gallery, health and counseling center, various dining options including Starbucks, an athletic complex, and a campus bookstore.
This socially engaged campus offers opportunities for leadership through their student government, over 100 clubs and societies, employment opportunities for more than a quarter of students, and projects to develop leadership skills.

StFX Transfer Scholarship

- Requirements
All students transferring full-time to StFX, student must be accepted with an average of 80% or higher on a full time course load and have a minimum 80% average.
Schwartz National Scholars

CAD$10,000 non-renewable
- All full-time International undergraduate degree or diploma students, full-time students registered in course-based master’s program, or full-time students registered in a post-baccalaureate diploma program. Minimum 85% average and demonstrated StFX qualities of academic and/or athletic excellence, leadership, and service to community. Open to all international students studying on a study permit
International Undergraduate Student Entrance Scholarships
