Life as an international student

Trent University has a strong international student community, represented by more than 700 students from 79 different countries.

The Trent International team can support you with things like housing, finances, immigration and health insurance, as well as cultural transition and academic advice. They offer regular workshops and also arrange the international student orientation you’ll take when you first start at Trent. This is designed to help you familiarize yourself with campus, get registered and meet fellow students and faculty members.

Trent offers more than 100 student clubs and societies you can join, including international clubs, groups and organizations. There’s also a wide range of varsity sports teams that represent Trent, including rowing, rugby, lacrosse, soccer and volleyball.
