Manhattan College is a private, Roman Catholic liberal arts college based in the Bronx area of New York City, US. The College offers more than 100 programs across six schools: The School of Business, School of Education and Health, School of Engineering, School of Liberal Arts, School of Science, and the School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
Manhattan is a relatively small college with just over 4,000 students, many of whom live on campus in one of the five residence halls. Their 23-acre campus also includes dining facilities, a gymnasium and a chapel.
19 of the College's sports teams are in the NCAA Division I, known as The Jaspers. These include basketball, lacrosse, cross country, baseball and rowing. Manhattan also offers a wealth of clubs and organizations that students can join, including Greek Life, spirit squad, performing arts and religious groups.

Non-need based scholarships are awarded to applicants who have demonstrated extraordinary accomplishments.
Eligibility for these scholarships is based on a variety of accomplishments such as exceptional SAT or ACT scores, grade point average, volunteer and community involvement, extra-curricular accomplishments and class rank. All students who are accepted into Manhattan College are automatically considered for these scholarships. No additional application is required.
If you receive one of these scholarships, you will be eligible to receive the scholarship for four years of undergraduate study (eight semesters), as long as you are enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits at Manhattan College and maintain a 3.0 grade point average or higher (unless otherwise stated). Awards are subject to change if your residency status changes while attending Manhattan College. Scholarships can only apply towards tuition. It does not apply towards room and board.
