Based over two distinct campuses known as LIU Brooklyn and LIU Post, Long Island University is a private university in Long Island, USA. The two campuses offer different experiences, one in a vibrant city location, and the other in a friendly, relaxed community.

LIU Post's 330-acre campus is located on the estate of Marjorie Merriweather Post, on Long Island's Gold Coast. The campus is home to the University’s college of veterinary medicine, the school of accountancy, and an award-winning theater program. It’s also home to the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts and the Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium, where the University’s Sharks’ Division I athletics teams play.

There are eight campus residence halls for more than 1,200 students that are tailored to your needs, from quiet study to semi-private suites. LIU Post also offers more than 70 active student clubs, organizations, and athletic teams, with an active greek life available too.

Before you start term, there are a number of welcome events for new students as well as seminars, workshops and social events designed to help you get to grips with life at LIU Post.
