Saint Francis University (SFU) is a US university located on a mountain top in Loretto, Pennsylvania. It’s one of the oldest Catholic universities in the country, and the oldest that celebrates Franciscan values. SFU focuses on the values of faith, generosity, respect, discovery, and joy. It seeks to attract students with a passion to shape the world.
The University offers students career-focused studies, small classes with close mentorship, undergraduate research opportunities, and experiential learning through labs, fieldwork and internships. SFU is made up of three schools: The Shields School of Business, the School of Health Sciences and Education, and the School of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.
SFU’s athletics teams participate in NCAA Division I, and their program includes basketball, football, cross country and tennis. Their campus is a safe community full of student activities, leadership opportunities and spiritual programs.

Fees and funding
Saint Francis University has generous assistance available to international students. All international applicants will be considered for merit scholarships ranging from $6,000 to $20,000. International students may also be eligible for institutional need based grants. To be considered for any institutional grants, all applicants must submit the affidavit of financial support. Scholarships are guaranteed for all years of your program as long as you maintain good academic standing.
Merit Scholarships from $6,000 - $20,000 / year
International Students are also eligible for institutional need base grants
Average Scholarship - $15,000 - 16,000 If they are Catholic, they can get an additional $2,000
Scholarships do not cover health insurance or technology fee
