Laramie is a small city of around 30,000 inhabitants located on the Laramie River in the US state of Wyoming. This railroad town is home to the University of Wyoming, which acts as the cultural hub of the city. The historic downtown includes vibrant murals painted by local artists, and there are a number of museums, as well as unique shops and restaurants.
The city’s mountain location makes it a popular spot for outdoor activities, with hiking, skiing and biking trails all on your doorstep. The city of Denver is just over two hours away by car for those that want the big city experience, and Laramie even has its own regional airport just three miles out of town.
