Life as an international student
Juniata is home to students from 39 different countries. The staff of the Center for International Education (CIE) can provide support for visa issues, pre-arrival planning, orientation, academic advice, and adjusting to life at Juniata, and in the US.
They also offer initiatives designed to help you settle in, including the friendship family program, which matches international students with a family in the community. The first friends program matches you with a student on campus who’ll show you around and help you meet new people.
At Juniata College, you will live in one of their residence halls with another Juniata student. The Center for International Education works with the Residence Life staff to match each international student with an American student, but sometimes this may not be possible.
