The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) is an honors university located in the US’s Mid Atlantic region, just 45 minutes from Washington DC. UMBC is at the forefront of pioneering research and development in public health, law and human services.
The University is made up of six specialized schools in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, law, and social work, as well as a graduate school.
The campus boasts purpose-built facilities for both research and practice. Students can choose from a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs that will equip them with the knowledge and tools to make a real difference in their communities.
