I grew up in the city “Ahmedabad” on the bank of Sabarmati also known as “City That Never Sleeps” with rich cultural heritage. Its heart remains a melting pot of all things one can imagine! It boasts wondrous sights that can only be relished in person. The Indian independence Movement holds a special place in my heart. Developed through the roots of the city when Mahatma Gandhi established Satyagraha Ashram (now Sabarmati Ashram) on the banks of the Sabarmati in 1917, the movement instilled a fearless attitude towards difficulties in me. I was not able to go back to my country in Fall break because of my financial situation. I missed my family a lot. I don't have money to travel in Spring break too. I don't know, what I am going to do. But I will try my best.

I study in Amherst, which is a very safe, friendly, and civilized city. I could go to downtown and other colleges by the transportation system, PVTA bus. There are two malls nearby which have many shops. But I need to spend around 1 hour to get there, which is not so convenient. There are many good restaurants, shops, and museums here. But since it is a small city, the nightlife is not the point to attract people.
