McMurry University is a small, private liberal arts university in Abilene, Texas. The University offers a welcoming environment at its beautiful 52-acre campus, which is built to support student growth and success.

Shaped by their Christian principles, McMurry University challenges its students to examine our complex world from multiple perspectives in preparation for lives of leadership, service, and professional success.

McMurry offers a wide and diverse range of academic programs, with students able to choose from 45 majors and 38 minors in areas like the arts, business, education, and science. The campus is full of great facilities to support you like a fully stocked library, post office, restaurants, bookstore, gym, and swimming pool.

Outside of the classroom, there are loads of things you can sink your teeth into at McMurry. The University has more than 40 student clubs you can join, and 21 intercollegiate sports you can get involved in. McMurry’s sports teams are known as the War Hawks, and they compete in the NCAA Division III American Southwest Conference.

All international students live on campus, which means you’ll be in the middle of the action at all times. It’s a great way to immerse yourself in everything life at McMurry has to offer.
