The University of Northampton (UON) is a modern public university located in the English town of Northampton. The University supports students to reach their potential and graduate with excellent employment prospects.
UON offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across a variety of subject areas. Programs are delivered by the University’s expert faculty who have been consistently recognized for their teaching excellence.
In 2018, the University built a new, environmentally-friendly, student-centered campus. Facilities include a 24-hour library, excellent sports venues, state-of-the-art accommodation, and an innovative learning hub.
In 2014, UON became the nation’s first university to offer free societies and sports clubs to students. From Disney society to rugby league, you’ll find plenty to keep you busy during your free time.

To support students who don’t speak English as their first language, the University offers a four-week language course before you begin your degree. Additionally, you’ll have one-to-one English tutorials throughout your time at Northampton.
International students are encouraged to get involved with the various student organizations on campus. As well as sports, crafting, and volunteering, you’ll find faith-based and cultural groups. In the rare circumstance that you can’t find a society that’s right for you, you’re welcome to gather a few friends and start up your own group.
The University also runs a generous international student scholarship scheme where students can receive funding for up to 30% of their tuition fees.

The UON EU Scholarship 2020 is open to applicants from the EU who meet the Eligibility Criteria. UON offers 50 scholarships, each to the value of £3000. Recipients will receive £1,000 per year, paid in two installments, over a maximum of three years.
The International Graduate Scholarship offers a 50% fee discount to graduates of the University of Northampton who studied on campus in the UK. This scholarship is available to you if you are wishing to study a Master’s course and have achieved a second class degree from a three or four year Bachelor’s degree or a first-class degree from a one-year Top-Up program. Top Up graduates with a second class degree will be eligible for 30% graduate scholarship.
You do not have to apply for this scholarship separately from your initial application and you will be informed of the outcome in your offer letter.
