Study abroad at the University of Liverpool

Founded in 1881, The University of Liverpool is one of the oldest institutions in the UK. It is located in Liverpool in the north west of England, and is one of the original red brick universities. It has campus locations in Liverpool city center, Leahurst, London, China, and Singapore.

You can choose from more than 400 undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research programs in a vast range of subjects and disciplines. The University is home to over 22,000 students on campus, with another 10,000 studying online from all over the world.

The University has invested £800 million in its teaching, research, residential, and sports facilities. There’s a 25 meter swimming pool, fitness center, squash courts, and 13 grass pitches you can enjoy, as well as a number of sports clubs and teams you can join.

Fees and funding

The University of Liverpool offers a generous range of scholarships and awards for international students that includes competitive attainment awards and country and subject specific awards.

Fee information

  • Postgraduate Pathways: £16,620 per program
  • Online Programs: from £15,300 to £21,000 per program
  • Online Academic Practice: £5,100 per program The tuition fee is fully inclusive of all costs: teaching materials, core textbooks, assessments and resits.

Funding

Vice Chancellor's Attainment Award

  • AAB or equivalent

    £2,000 fee reduction for the first year of study.

  • A/AA or equivalent

    £2,500 fee reduction for the first year of study.

No application is necessary, automatically awarded to those who meet the criteria. Award confirmed to successful candidates by email.

Introductory Scholarship for Academic Practice (PGCAP)

  • Only available for the Postgraduate Certificate Academic Practice, reduces 15% of the tuition fee

Online Programs Discount

  • You will receive a 5% discount if you choose to pay the full tuition fee upfront.
  • Scholarships of up to 15% of your tuition fee may be available.

Online MBA Scholarships

  • An Executive Scholarship of 15% is available for our July and October 2023 intakes.
  • A Regional Scholarship of up to 15% is also available for this programme.

  • An Executive Scholarship of 20% is available for our May and October 2023 intakes for the Management MSc award.
