Formerly known as Leeds Metropolitan University, Leeds Beckett University (LBU) is a private university located in Leeds, England. The University offers a wide range of degree programs including international foundation year programs designed for international students.
The Leeds International Study Center works with Leeds Beckett University to give you the language, study and research skills you need to succeed in your degree. They offer two pathways to prepare you for the first year of an undergraduate degree, one in business, law and social studies, and the other in science, engineering and computing.
The center is based on the Leeds Beckett Headingley campus, and you’ll have full access to all of the University’s facilities, so you will feel a part of university life from day one. Leeds Beckett also offers extensive sports facilities, and the Athletic Union has 40 clubs and more than 85 teams you can join and get involved with.
