Financial Mathematics program structure
Bachelor’s degrees in financial mathematics last a minimum of three years, or four years with a placement. Completing a year in industry is a fantastic way to test out potential careers and network with professionals.
If you want to study in the US, your undergraduate degree will take four years. The first half of your program will be dedicated to general education classes, before you declare a major in financial mathematics at the end of your second year.
After finishing your BSc, you can continue studying on a postgraduate program. Master’s degrees can be taken on a part or full-time basis over one or two years. PhDs vary in length, but most last between four and six years.
You’ll learn through a mixture of lectures, seminars, tutorials, group workshops, and computer laboratories. Exams, essays, research projects, group work, and presentations are just some of the ways you could be assessed.
