My area of study is Psychology. This is a course that I am deeply passionate about, and one that I can't wait to dive into and start working as a psychologist. I couldn't choose a better college to study at. The lecturers are hardworking, their motive is to ensure that all students achieve the goals set out, and that all students can be great. I learnt that whenever you feel as if you are struggling in any area possible, there is always someone there to help, whether it's the professors, student leaders, tutors, and even student advisers. Through my few months studying at St. Francis, and with the help of the staff, I am accomplishing more things daily. Such a feeling is one that is hard to find today and its great to attend a college with such individuals.

Psychology department has made my classes knowledgeable. They are well balanced in terms of the syllabus. There are periods that get stressful in terms of workload but its manageable with a little extra responsibility. The American general education system is different to the one where I live, so it was confusing in the beginning and I am still learning. Tutors are helpful in this department and all my professors thus far are passionate about what they do, making the course more enjoyable. Tuition is expensive, being a student athlete, I got the funding I needed for tuition which helps pay for the accommodation. Overall, my classes and courses are flexible and achievable.

I am studying psychology. I am only a freshman so I have been studying very general classes if you compare with the Spanish education. I think it's easier than in Spain. My only difficulty was the language. The lectures are good because of the small class sizes (15-30). Sometimes the classes get very noisy because of the ambulances on the street. Sometimes they are a little boring or long. I feel that they don’t pay enough attention to the international people and their English skills. It's very hard for an international student at the beginning. As I am a student athlete (I play on the Water Polo team) I have a very little tuition to pay. The resources are good. We have a lot of nice computers and wifi. The library has different levels with different quiet levels.
