University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) in San Antonio, is one of the leading comprehensive universities in Texas. It’s the largest Catholic university in Texas and the fourth-largest private university in the state, offering 90 academic programs across undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degree levels.
The University has a number of facilities that enable students to gain practical experience including the Autonomous Vehicle Systems Lab, Juren Sullivan Center for Fashion Management, 3D Animation & Game Design lab, recording studios, simulation and skills lab, StockTrak Finance Lab and campus TV/radio studios.
UIW is an NCAA Division I institution, and they boast state-of-the-art sports facilities for their 23 sports teams, including an Olympic size swimming pool. Their campus also has a range of facilities including 10 student dormitories and a student engagement center for all student services, dining and organizations.

Fees and funding
The University of the Incarnate Word offers a number of scholarships to first degree seeking undergraduate students. All merit based scholarships are renewable for up to 4 years as long as a minimum grade point average of 3.0 is maintained. All awards are given at the time of admission.
Undergraduate Tuition - $29,900 / year Postgraduate Tuition - $17,280 / year
Merit Scholarships range from $5,000 to $20,000 depending on GPA and SAT/ACT tests
Catholic High School Scholarships - students who have graduated from a Catholic High School are eligible for a $2,000 award (renewable)
Transfer students - based on GPA from their UG degree, it ranges from $8,000 - 12,000
