Life as an international student

The international population at Ursinus represents around 5% of the student body, and comes from 22 countries.

Once you arrive, an International Student Ambassador will help you sort out your living arrangements and other necessities. International Student Ambassadors are Ursinus students, and they’ll also be in touch with you throughout your time at Ursinus to make sure you’re settling into college life.

First year orientation takes place before the start of term after all the other freshmen have arrived, and gives you a chance to get to know the campus and meet your peers.

There are plenty of things to do outside the classroom to help you meet new people and adjust to life at Ursinus. 35% of students participate in Varsity athletics, there are also more than 100 clubs and activities to get involved in.

Fees and funding

Ursinus offers limited academic merit awards to international students. Need-based aid is not available for students who are not US citizens or permanent residents. No full scholarships are available. International students will be responsible for contributing, at minimum, the cost of tuition.

Students who have taken an SAT 1220 or ACT 27 are automatically given scholarship $30,000.
