Life as an international student

NJIT has a diverse student body with more than 2,000 international students from over 75 different countries. International students account for 15% of NJIT’s student population and they are supported through a range of specialist services.

The Office of University Admissions offers additional help to international students with their initial college applications. Once you’ve been offered a place at NJIT, the Office of Global Initiatives will provide ongoing intensive support with matters relating to visas, employment, and accommodation.

Students can choose from a range of on-campus or off-campus housing options. Dining packages can be added for your convenience.
