Study abroad at North Central College

North Central College is a top-ranked private comprehensive college of the liberal arts and sciences in Naperville, Illinois. It offers more than 65 undergraduate majors and five graduate program areas. The College is affiliated with the United Methodist Church, but they welcome and encourage students and staff of all faiths.

The College is made up of 19 academic departments across three undergraduate colleges and schools and a master’s program. The campus is set across 65 acres in downtown Naperville, and there are 12 residence halls made up of traditional dormitories, apartments and suites.

Their athletic department is the largest in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW), with 26 intercollegiate sports competing in NCAA Division III. North Central has won 32 team national championships and has 123 individual national champions.

Life as an international student

The International Living Learning Community (I-LLC) provides a residential space for international and domestic students to live and interact. It aims to create and cultivate a multicultural environment and an atmosphere of international living.

North Central also offers a wide range of clubs and activities you can get involved with outside the classroom. You can join one of more than 75 student organizations, including the award-winning WONC radio, the Model UN, honor societies, community service and much more.

Fees and funding

Choosing the right place to continue your education is about finding the best value for your investment and completing your degree. At North Central, they offer quality academic and co-curricular programs, small classes, excellent support services and a variety of scholarships to help you make a quality education possible.

Over 95% of admitted international students receive scholarship aid - with an average award of $21,000 per year. The average scholarship given to international students is $19,000. If students do not meet the requirements, they can still get a minimum of $8,000 scholarship.
