Study abroad at Stockton University

Stockton University is a US university located in Galloway, New Jersey. It also has a residential campus in Atlantic City, as well as other locations in Hammonton and Woodbine. Their Galloway campus includes over 1,600 acres within the Pinelands National Reserve, and is home to two lakes, nature paths, and wildlife.

The University offers over 160 areas of study and is made up of schools in arts, business, education, general studies, health sciences, natural sciences and mathematics, and social behavioural sciences.

Stockton has 18 NCAA Division III athletic teams, including men's and women's basketball, cross country, soccer, indoor track and field, outdoor track and field, and lacrosse.

Life as an international student

The University’s Office of Global Engagement (OGE) supports international students as you transition to life at Stockton. They make sure you’re connected throughout the campus and have access to the campus resources you need.

International students can join the Global Ambassador Program, which is made up of international and domestic students. The ambassadors arrange and coordinate on-campus events, social gatherings and trips to New York, Washington, DC and Philadelphia.

All students at Stockton are encouraged to take part in athletics, club teams, intramurals, and other recreational activities. They also have over 200 clubs, organizations, and activities that could help you find people who share your interests.

Fees and funding

Stockton University's commitment to students has never been stronger. They have welcomed their largest freshman class in Stockton's history, and bolstered their enrolment processes to make a Stockton education more accessible, affordable and inclusive for individuals of all backgrounds.

Stockton offers affordable program cost and fees.

Accepted freshmen are considered for merit scholarships based on class rank/GPA and SAT/ACT scores. Accepted transfer students are considered for scholarships based on previous college performance. Stockton Foundation Scholarships reward returning students based on academic merit at Stockton and financial need.

Fee information

  • On Campus: $23,420 per year
  • Online: $11,375 per year

Funding

International Student Scholarship

  • Must have applied and been admitted as an international student.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (all GPAs will be converted to a 4.0 scale)
  • Incoming first-year students may receive the scholarship for up to eight semesters.
  • Students must maintain continuous full-time enrollment and a 3.0 cumulative Stockton University GPA to renew the award.
  • Student must reside on campus to maintain this award.
  • Amount: $7,888 per year

International Student Transfer Scholarship

  • Must have applied and been admitted as an international student.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher (all GPAs will be converted to a 4.0 scale)
  • Incoming transfer students may receive the scholarship for up to six semesters, depending on the number of credits transferred to Stockton.
  • Students must maintain continuous full-time enrollment and a 3.0 cumulative Stockton University GPA to renew the award.
  • Student must reside on campus to maintain this award.
  • Transcripts from all previously attended institutions will be used to calculate cumulative GPA.
  • New transfer applicants only; students applying for readmission or first-year applicants do not qualify.
