Study abroad at York St John University

York St John University is a public university based in York, England. They offer a wide range of study programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including taught programs and research degrees.

Its award-winning 11-acre campus is in walking distance of the historical York city center, and includes state-of-the-art laboratories and learning spaces. They also have a 57-acre sports park which features synthetic pitches for hockey, football and rugby, as well as a sports hall, and a fully equipped fitness suite.

The campus also includes a host of facilities including a library, laboratories, a dance studio, TV and film production facilities, music rooms, and cafes and bars.There are six University-run accommodation sites across the city, all within 20 minutes’ walk of the University.

York St John is home to students from over 100 different countries. All first year international students are guaranteed university accommodation if you apply on time, and you’ll be mixed in with domestic students in one of the six accommodation sites.

The International Student Support team are on hand to help you during your time at York St John. You’ll get an international welcome pack from them when you arrive, and they’ll also organize your welcome week, which will include a number of events and sessions that will help you settle in.

There are plenty of ways to socialize on campus, and the Students' Union has more than 30 different societies and 25 sports clubs you can join to help you meet people and make friends.

Fees and funding

The York St John University tuition fee for the 2019 entry to Foundation Degree, BA and BSc, PGCE degrees is £12,750 per year for international students.

The York St John University tuition fee for the 2018 entry to Postgraduate Taught MA/MSc degrees is £12,500 per year for international students.

For 2019 entry, a £1000 fee reduction will be offered to International Students (Non EU) for undergraduate or postgraduate courses.

UG Tuition - BA, BSc - £12,750 / year International Foundation - £10,000 / year UG Health Programs - £14,000 / year

MA/Msc - £12,500 / program MBA - £15,000 / program MSc Physiotherapy - £18,000 / program MSc Occupational Therapy - £18,000 / program

For UG/PG students - £1,000 fee reduction. To qualify, students must have applied for their course, been accepted and pay their deposit by May 31 for a September start.
