I also picked Chichester because the tuition was reasonable. I did think that I would have more lecturers, more class time, and more contact time. I did feel that I had to do a lot more on my own, to learn as well as make friends.

Very good lecturers, I like that everyone is friendly and not too formal because it's easy to speak to people. The course is very expensive compared to what other universities offer for the same price.

I study Music and Musical Theater and I love it. I take jazz, tap, and ballet dance classes, I get private voice lessons, two acting classes a week, and a lot more.

My coursework was challenging, fascinating, and very engaging. Courses and lectures were well organized and taught me how to engage with complex topics in a digestible manner that informed the way I approached my own academic work. I felt very lucky to have been taught by researchers who were at the top of their field and found their presence invaluable to my experience. The modules were put together in a way that aided my understanding of my subject as a whole. As Popular music studies is very interdisciplinary, this was enormously helpful and definitely contributed to my success in the programme. There was some very unfortunate interference by school politics and management that left me without many of the resources and support that I expected upon entering the programme, and while the lecture staff maintained a professional learning environment and provided me with excellent instruction, it was clear that the university didn't value my programme and indeed, left me and my class without support. While the lecturers performed exceptionally well to provide me with the education I committed my time and money toward, I was very disappointed (as an international student especially) in the way that the university management handled (and effectively dissolved) my programme and dismissed the value of my time and education.
