Study abroad at Edge Hill University

Edge Hill University is a UK university based on a 160-acre campus in Lancashire, close to Liverpool and Manchester. Lakes, green spaces and even a beach can be found on campus alongside innovative buildings that help to provide a sustainable and modern environment. A £30 million Sports Centre opened in 2015 and offers some of the best sports facilities in the country.

Edge Hill has three faculties: arts and sciences, education, and health and social care; these faculties offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications. Several courses, including the MBA (Master of Business Administration) program include the opportunity to gain valuable work experience with placements.

The University has nearly 2,500 single study bedrooms in halls of residence on campus and can guarantee accommodation for first year students.

An active Students’ Union is at the heart of the campus. It is a student-led organisation, run by students for students. When you join a program, you’ll automatically become a member of Edge Hill Students’ Union who provide representation for you as an international student, and as a student of your course. Edge Hill Students’ Union offers newly developed social spaces, and a packed line-up of activities and events.

Fees and funding

Deciding to study in a foreign country is a big decision, and one of the biggest factors is the financial commitment.

Edge Hill has a competitive range of international scholarships. All full-time, overseas fee paying students will be automatically considered for the award of a scholarship when applying for a program of studies.

Undergraduate tuition: £12,000 per year (three-year programs)

Postgraduate tuition: £13,000 per program (one year programs)

MBA tuition: £13,250 per program

International foundation scholarship

One scholarship worth up to £1,200 towards the tuition fees of the international foundation program will be awarded based on academic merit. Successful students will be notified on their offer letter, with the award being made at the university's discretion.

All students who progress successfully from the international foundation program onto a full undergraduate degree will receive a £3,975 scholarship towards the first year of their undergraduate tuition fees. Successful students will be notified on their offer letter, with the award being made at the university’s discretion.

Undergraduate Development Scholarship

This scholarship is for students starting an Undergraduate (bachelor’s) degree and is worth up to £1,200 towards the first year tuition fees. Successful students will be notified on their offer letter, with the award being made at the university’s discretion.
