Study abroad at Glasgow Caledonian University

There are over 20,000 students studying at Scotland’s Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU). Glasgow is a lively and cosmopolitan university city, with GCU’s campus in the middle of the action. GCU’s accommodation area of Caledonian Court is a ‘village in the city’ located across the road from the University’s main campus. The accommodation houses 660 students in 100 modern self-catering apartments and offers on site advice and support to students.

The University has four academic schools: Glasgow School for Business and Society, School of Health and Life Sciences, School of Engineering and Built Environment, and GCU London. The teaching at GCU is renowned for its quality, flexibility, and state-of-the-art facilities. The University’s Students’ Association represents the student body at GCU and comes with a dedicated building containing a student bistro, advice center, radio station, 24 hour social learning space and 24 hour computer lab.

GCU has a vibrant sports scene, much of it focused on the Arc, the on-campus health and fitness center. Fees and funding

Cost of study is important to the success of GCU students so the University is committed to offering accessible higher education by keeping tuition fees low and providing a generous scholarship package of over £2.5 million per year.

Tuition fees at Glasgow Caledonian University include all tuition, library, examination and administrative costs.

Undergraduate tuition: £11,500 per year

Undergraduate scholarship are available for students who are self funding and studying on a full time program. The scholarships gives £1,000 per year. There is also a discount for students who pay a deposit early before enrolling.

The university also works with partners to offers a variety of other scholarships for particular subjects.

Application deadlines for scholarships vary but are typically in May or June and students should hold an offer to study in order to apply so it's recommended that students apply as early as possible in in order to complete the paperwork
