The University of Dundee is a public research university located in Dundee, Scotland. It is organized into nine schools, all of which contain multiple discipline; these are schools of art and design, dentistry, education, medicine, nursing, humanities, life sciences, science and engineering, and social sciences.

The University’s campus is situated in the heart of Dundee, just a five minute walk from the city center. It is home to a host of learning facilities, student accommodation, sports facilities, and the Student Union, voted the best in Scotland.

The Student Union offers nearly 200 student societies you can join, and is a great way to meet like-minded people and make new friends. They cover a range of areas from politics and academics, to arts and charitable societies.

Life as an international student

The University of Dundee is home to students from more than 140 different countries, so you won’t feel out of place as an international student.

Their International Advice Service is designed to welcome and support all students starting at Dundee from overseas. They offer advice on immigration, working in the UK during and after your studies, and they arrange social and cultural events throughout the year.

All international students are encouraged to live on campus and join student societies to help settle into life in Scotland. You can also take a 10 week English language program to help improve your language skills.

Fees and funding

The University of Dundee take pride in not only providing students with great value-for-money, but also with the resources to reach their full potential.

Tuition fees for overseas (non-EU) students are guaranteed not to increase by more than 3% per year, for the length of your program.

Undergraduate Tuition: Non lab based course - £16,450 / year Lab based course - £19,960 / year

Global Excellence Scholarship - UG £5,000 (given to high achievers / year), for anyone else they can apply for it and scholarship will be given only for year 1.

PG £5,000 (automatically if they have an equivalent to a 1st class degree in their bachelor's program. If they do not have the degree, they can still apply).
