Life as an international student

The university’s international study center has experts in their fields with lots of experience in teaching international students like you. You’ll receive full support from the study center from the start of your program through to the end, and your progress will be monitored through assessments to ensure you are ready to move onto your postgraduate degree.

Accommodation for postgraduate students at the study center will be on or close to the main Old Aberdeen campus. You will be offered a single occupancy bedroom with ensuite options.

Funding

Undergraduate pathway students

  • The University of Aberdeen is offering progression scholarships to students who achieve a grade B (equivalent to at least 68%) in their undergraduate pathway programme. This scholarship will be available up to the value of £2,500 each year of your undergraduate degree, following your transition to the University.
  • The scholarship is available to self-funded students at the International Study Centre, on any undergraduate pathway.
