Koç University was founded in 1993 as a non-profit private university in Istanbul, Turkey. Since its establishment, Koç University has emerged as a center of global excellence in science and education and is regarded as one of the best universities in Turkey.
The University offers a wide range of academic programs across seven schools and colleges, which include colleges of administrative sciences and economics, sciences, social sciences and humanities, engineering, school of medicine, school of nursing and a law school.
Their 62-acre campus is located on the hills of Sariyer, and it offers full residential accommodation. 60% of Koç University students choose to live on campus and many of them remain on campus through to graduation.
Koç University offers a dynamic campus life, including regular social activities, student clubs, sports teams and voluntary organizations. The university classrooms and labs are equipped with the latest technology, and it has excellent athletic and recreational facilities that are available to all students.

Koç University prides itself in offering extensive scholarship packages for high caliber graduate students that meet selective admissions criteria.
Koç University evaluates admitted candidates for full or partial tuition-only scholarships on the basis of financial need and academic merit.
Merit-based tuition scholarships can be awarded for 100%, 50% or 25% by the Admissions Committee and need-based tuition scholarships can be awarded by the Scholarships Committee for 50% or 25% of the annual tuition fees for the duration of the undergraduate program and will be subject to the academic and discipline regulations of Koç University for its undergraduate students.
