IMI International Management Institute in Switzerland is a private hospitality and business management school founded in 1991.
IMI offer programs in international hotel, tourism and events management at undergraduate level. They also offer global business and marketing management, and a prestigious MBA in international hospitality, both are validated by Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK.
The Institute is a small school, and only admits a maximum of 200 students per semester. This means students get a personalized and individual approach to their learning. All programs are taught in English, but you have the option to learn French or German as a second language.
Their picturesque campus is surrounded by mountains and lakes, and students are minutes away from the historical city of Lucerne with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.

Fees and funding
As a private institution, IMI does not provide any full scholarships and students are expected to be in a position to finance their own studies in Switzerland, especially as this will be a requirement by the Swiss immigration authorities for the study visa application.
Undergraduate tuition: CHF 22,150 - 23,750 per semester
Postgraduate Tuition: Hospitality Management MBA - CHF 30,650 per program International Hospitality and Events MSc - CHF 26,000 per program
Postgraduate Diplomas: CHF 22,150 per program
Periodically, part-scholarships are offered to certain applicants. These partial scholarships are offered as a reduction on the tuition fees. There are no scholarships on offer on the registration fee or prices for accommodation and meals.
Limited partial scholarships are given based on letter of motivation and range between CHF 5,000 - CHF 6,000 per semester.
