Why study in Kuala Lumpur?
As the federal capital and most populous city in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur is the main hub of education in the country. It’s home to Malaysian ingenuity and achievement, including the tallest twin buildings in the world, the Petronas Towers. Kuala Lumpur has a tropical rainforest climate which is warm and sunny with lots of rainfall, particularly during the northeast monsoon season from October to March.
Kuala Lumpur is a diverse city, with influences from cultures from around the world including Chinese, Arab and Indian. It’s a city used to welcoming expats, so international students can expect to find a modern city with all the comforts of home. It is very easy to get around the city by public transport, which is plentiful and cheap. Coastal towns, caves, and highlands are just some of the sights only a day trip from the city.
