The University of Liechtenstein is a public university located in the Principality of Liechtenstein, in the city of Vaduz. It offers programs focused on the areas of architecture and business economics, including finance, business law and entrepreneurship. The University is partnered with 80 universities from all over the world, offering excellent exchange opportunities.
The University offers degrees at bachelor’s, master’s and PhD levels, as well as continuing education in the form of courses, symposium and seminars. The University also produces research in the areas of IT and business process management, sustainable planning and building, growth and complexity and wealth management.
The campus is located on the historic Spoerry site in Vaduz, surrounded by mountain views. The university has its own student dormitory, but also offers a platform that helps students to look for private rooms and flats in Liechtenstein.

Life as an international student
Although a relatively small institution, the University of Liechtenstein’s student body represents more than 40 nationalities. When you start, you’ll take part in an introduction week which is designed to help you get to grips with life in Liechtenstein, and meet other students and staff.
There is a buddy program, which is run by ESN Liechtenstein. Your buddy will be a regular student at the University who’ll be available to help you with any questions you have or any support you need during your studies.
The SPINNEREI is the student's office of the University of Liechtenstein, which organizes a variety of events during the semester and also works with other students initiatives. International students are encouraged to join student clubs, and you can even start your own.

Studying offers a lot of possibilities but also causes costs.
Liechtenstein is one of the costliest countries in Europe. But there are a variety of options (grants, scholarships, jobs etc.) to fund your studies at the University of Liechtenstein.
Tuition fees are CHF 950 - per semester for EU/EEA and Swiss citizens or CHF 1,250 - for other citizens. Erasmus students pay tuition at their home university.
Postgraduate Tuition: CHF 1,700 per year (€1,580)
Scholarship for students of the MSc in Architecture
Students of the MSc in Architecture have the possibility to apply for an API Application form (PDF). Target group for this scholarship are students from developing countries who show excellent academic results and need financial support.
Hilti Fellowship for students of the MSc in Information Systems
This Hilti-sponsored fellowship offers committed and determined master's students the opportunity to be part of an international project team for a semester, and to include the experiences in one or more courses for a master’s degree in Information Systems (5 - 30 ECTS) at the University of Liechtenstein. Together with the Hilti Chair of Business Process Management, you will become familiar with state-of-the-art technology (e.g. in-memory computing, cloud computing, and mobile app development) and discuss new ideas for future Hilti projects, such as Enterprise Content Management and Customer Relationship Management.
LGT Scholarship for MSc in Finance
Students who are interested in receiving an LGT University Scholarship can apply for the scholarship upon admission to the Master of Science in Finance program at the University of Liechtenstein. The following documents are required for the application: scholarship application cover letter and letter of recommendation, CV, photo, bachelor’s degree, language and other training certificates.
