Safe, not very welcoming, public transport is not sufficient, there is not a big variety of food options. Small amount of grocery stores with limited work hours available. Nightlife is limited, not many clubs or bar options for different tastes.

Vaasa is a perfect city for me because of the relatively small size yet international atmosphere. Transportation within the city is okay while it is easy to connect with other parts of the country from here. Nightlife is almost non-existent but I like to enjoy my sleep so that works fine for me.

Vaasa, City is small and comfortable. I personally like the smaller cities because transportation time is less. So far I felt very safe, nice and honest people. Mostly I use my bike but I heard city buses are as per schedule. There are a few clubs. In shops I think almost everything is available.
