Study abroad at Haaga Helia University

Haaga-Helia is a business-focused university of applied sciences in Finland. The University’s education, research and development, prepares students for business and service roles after graduation.

Haaga-Helia offer students bachelor's and master's degrees, teacher education, MBA programs and specialization studies. The University consists of five campuses, six hundred staff, and 1,000 students across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences campuses are located in Helsinki, Porvoo, and Vierumäki. Three of the campuses are in Helsinki: Haaga, Malmi and Pasila. The Pasila campus is the largest campus, located next to the Pasila Railway Station. The campus runs programs in Multilingual Management Assistants studies, Journalism, Business, Sales and Information Technology. Pasila campus also offers master's degree programs in Information systems management, Communication Management, Entrepreneurship, and Business Management, International Business Management and in Tourism.

Life as an international student

Haaga-Helia is the most international university of applied sciences in Finland more than 1,000 international students attend the University, as well as a network of over 200 partner universities abroad. As a student you have the opportunity to study abroad and become involved in international projects.

Haaga-Helia offers international students services in English, including arrival service, an extensive orientation program, accommodation, Finnish language and cultural studies, counseling and other support. During free time you have plenty of trips, activities and events to choose from both on and off-campus.

Fees and funding

Haaga-Helia UAS will charge a tuition fee from a student accepted to a degree program taught in English. The tuition fee includes teaching and access to the learning facilities and the student Library. As a student at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences you have access to Student Services and ICT services to support your studies. A tuition fee is applicable if you are not a citizen of a country of the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland or international students holding a Residence Permit type A.

    €9,500 per year

No scholarships available during the first year of study. For 2nd, 3rd and last half of the bachelor's 4th year, students have access to academic merit-based scholarships: 20% - 30% scholarships.
