Suva is the capital city of the South Pacific island of Fiji. It’s also the country’s largest city and is the political, economic, cultural and education hub of the island. It’s home to most of the country’s higher education institutes, including the University of the South Pacific.

Suva is a tropical metropolis for students to study in, with all the amenities you’d expect for a big city. It boasts a vibrant nightlife, museums, shopping malls and restaurants with lush tropical greenery and colonial architecture. The nearest airport connects Suva to the rest of Fiji, as well as providing services to cities in Australia.

    Fiji is exactly what we all thought it would be, and even more.

    Very safe environment. A lot of activities to do, such as kayaking, jet skiing, paddling, hiking and many more. The clubs are pretty safe and they don't get cheeky with tourists or non-citizens in general. Affordable shops with a variety of food choices. I just love everything here.

    Tell us about Suva
    Whilst people are very friendly, it is recommended that you take extra caution, especially if you are going out at night, as there have been several cases of robbery against international personnel. However, during my stay in Suva, I have never come across such instances.
