Business Academy Aarhus is a School of Applied Sciences in Aarhus Denmark. The degree programs on offer center around practical learning. The institution provides Academy Profession degrees (first two years of a bachelor’s) and bachelor’s degrees in subjects such as finance. Programs at the business academy require a compulsory internship.
The campus features a bar, lounge, library and canteen. Housing is arranged through a company that provides student accommodation across Aarhus city. In the city, Student House Aarhus (Studenterhus) is an organisation with a cafe and a bar that can also offer a place for you to hold your study group meetings. It’s a great place to meet other students away from campus and even offers discounts on events in the city.

There are 700 international students at Business Academy Aarhus. Many of the international students will be on one of the programs taught exclusively in English. Internationalization not only takes place in the classroom, but also in the many social activities the academy offers.
All new international students are offered a Buddy. Buddys are students at Business Academy Aarhus that volunteer and assist international students in getting to know Aarhus. They can help you to participate in social activities, meeting people, improving your language skills and networking. To make you feel even more at home in Denmark, the academy offers Danish lessons on campus.

Fees and funding
Business Academy Aarhus offers free tuition for EEA and EU students. For non-EU students tuition is very affordable with a few scholarships available to fund all or part of your program.

Scholarship from the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science
The Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science offers a scholarship scheme for non-EU citizens. There are only very few scholarships available and they will be given to highly qualified students. Business Academy Aarhus primarily offers scholarships to students who have passed at least their first semester at the Academy. This means that non-EU students must expect to pay tuition fees themselves for at least the first semester.
A scholarship may be given as a full or partial cover of the tuition fees or as a monthly grant to cover living expenses.
Applicants are recommended for the scholarships by Business Academy Aarhus. Decisions regarding recipients of scholarships are made once a year, in May / June.
