Why study in Nicosia?
The Cypriot capital Nicosia is perfect for students; there are many traditional aspects of the city including restaurants, shops and buildings as well as a blend of cultures. However, Nicosia also has the modern features you’d expect from a university town such as nightclus, bars, cinemas and malls. It’s an easy city to get around on foot or by bus, and is a short drive from beautiful beaches and mountains.
Just 40 minutes from the city is Larnaka international airport, making travel to most of Europe easy, as well as some destinations further afield. The weather in Nicosia is mild to hot all year round, with a yearly range between 51°F and 85°F. Many of the city’s inhabitants speak some English, so it is possible to get by without knowing much Greek or Turkish.
