Why study in Surrey?

Surrey is a Canadian city in the province of British Columbia. It is around a 30 minute drive from Vancouver, but retains more of a suburban feel. Known as the "city of parks", it has 600 parks including over 250 hiking and cycling trails; there are also beaches; giving students many places to relax from their studies. Events are held throughout the year for the community.

The city experiences milder winters than other areas of Canada such as Toronto, and this comes with slightly cooler summers too. The public transport in Surrey is mainly provided by buses, with the SkyTrain Expo line offering services to Vancouver. Vancouver International Airport is only 30km away, proving international students with many options to go on vacation or travel home.
