Students at the Chiu School of Business receive a quality education coupled with the practical experience that will prepare them for a great career.
All students at the College have a chance to collaborate with like-minded people, create a network of socially-focused entrepreneurs, and develop a business idea.
Students participate in initiatives such as mentorship or social entrepreneurship opportunities which enable them to be exposed to actual entrepreneurs, discuss their own stories and pathways of entrepreneurship, and put into practice what they have learned through competitions and real-life entrepreneurship scenarios.
Through workshops, skills development sessions, mentorship, and networking opportunities, aspiring entrepreneurs get the chance to develop their entrepreneurial skills and cultivate their ideas into a viable, socially responsible business.
Business programs are coupled with work experience and co-op opportunities that will allow students to get hands-on experience with an employer to build valuable experience in several business areas such as Accounting, Digital Marketing, Financial Services, Human Resources, Insurance and Risk Management, and Supply Chain Management.
