The Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (UPCT) is a public university based in the city of Cartagena, Spain. It is the youngest technical university in Spain, and it specializes in technology and business studies.
The University is made up of nine schools, including the higher technical school of agronomic engineering, school of industrial engineering, faculty of business sciences, and the international doctoral school. UPCT has three campuses located in the center of Cartagena, which include student accommodation.
UPCT offers a range of student clubs and organizations, and it also runs summer courses students can sign up to. Subjects covered change every year, but can include introduction courses, computing classes, sports, history and many more.

International students studying at UPCT can take part in the University’s mentorship program, which is designed to help new students at the beginning of their studies. Mentors are existing university students who will welcome you when you arrive, help you find accommodation, show you around campus and offer any assistance or support you may need.
You can live on campus in one of the University’s two dormitories, with the option of living in a single room, or in a shared flat. The accommodation includes a number of services including canteens, games, access to computers and meeting rooms.
