  • At least one year high school education in the USA and earned a B or higher in the English or English Literature class (not ESL, not English grammar)
  • Official SAT/ACT score report that meets the university minimum requirements. Minimum SAT of 900 or Minimum ACT of 16
  • Satisfactorily completed 24 semester credit hours (not including ESL classes) at an accredited college or university in the US or a country where English is the official language and the medium of instruction
  • Satisfactorily completed the equivalent of College Composition I and College Composition II with a grade of “C” or above at an accredited U.S. college or university
  • They have obtained an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma

Merit-based scholarships Rowan University offers merit-based scholarships to undergraduate international freshmen and transfer applicants. All admitted international students (on valid non-immigrant visa) are automatically considered for Rowan University international scholarship awards. International merit-based scholarships

  • Amount: From US$1,000 to US$19,000 per year
  • Requirements: Recipients will be expected to maintain a minimum 2.5 grade-point average (GPA) based on a GPA range of 0.0 – 4.0. In order to receive priority consideration for the international scholarship we encourage students to apply for admission and complete their application by March 1. There is no separate scholarship application.

Graduate

Graduate Assistant (GA)

  • Amount: Full-time GA

    20 hours per week, tuition remission for 9 credits and a stipend each semester. Part-time GA

  • Requirement: Graduate Assistants are graduate students who provide academic and program support. GA responsibilities may be administrative in nature, consisting of duties that typically are not related to teaching or research. Such activities may include assisting with the administration of student services, participating in student recruiting, assisting in program planning, and advising undergraduate student groups. Graduate Assistantships can be granted as full- or part-time during one single academic year (fall and spring terms).
