"The Textiles, Merchandising and Fashion Design Communications option combine a background in textiles and fashion with advertising or another area of media communications. The program prepares you for a rewarding career in the fast-paced, deadline-driven environment of textiles and fashion communications. You will work closely with both Textiles, Merchandising and Fashion Design faculty and faculty in the College of Journalism and Mass Communications."

Non-native English speakers must submit an IELTS or TOEFL score demonstrating proficiency in English. Contact your IELTS testing center or TOEFL to have your official scores sent directly to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
If you do not meet proficiency requirements, you can still be offered conditional admission. Pathway programs are available.
In addition to the online application, International Freshmen students are required to submit:
- Secondary school transcript
- Secondary school certificate/diploma
- English proficiency scores
- Bank statement
ACT/SAT tests are not required for admission to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln but may be required for entry into specific colleges.
