      "Our specialisms include applied computing, artificial intelligence, cyber security, big data and data mining, business intelligence, e-business technology, application and management, IoTs, IT and IS, e-learning and digital forensics, and system modelling.
      Postgraduate researchers studying in the areas of Creative Computing and Technology; Technical and Applied Computing and Engineering Technologies will be able to draw on expertise within the school across a wide area. There is a strong applied research focus in the School and particular interests in work that engages with the concerns of the user, the needs of businesses and the rapid developments within the IT industry and engineering sectors."

      Admissions requirements

      Students from all over the world are welcome for foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate programs, English language studies and university preparation courses.

      UG/PG IETLS 6.0 (no band below 5.5) Journalism and Nursing require an IELTS 7.0

      Undergraduate (Bachelors) Successful completion of a University or Polytechnic Diploma lower credit or Completion of a recognised foundation course

      Postgraduate (Masters) Bachelors degree with a minimum of a second class.

      Fall Semester (September) - deadline is ongoing 6 weeks before the start of program

      Fees and funding

      Getting value for money from your tuition fees is about more than just making sure you have great academic staff to learn from. That is why the University charges the same tuition fees for all students irrespective of what subject you are studying.

      The University of Gloucestershire can offer a range of funding awards for international students.

      Students will be automatically considered for the merit scholarship upon receiving an offer for the above courses and will be notified by the admissions team if successful.

      Merit Scholarship (50% off first year tuition fees) for MBA, Master of Finance, master's of Accounting & Finance, BA Graphic Design, MA Landscape Architecture, MA Film Making.

      Other awards (given automatically):

      • £2,000 (students from Canada, China, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, UK, USA)
      • £4,000 (students from Africa, Vietnam and Latin America)
