Under a joint agreement between the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) and Mount Aloysius College, undergraduate students who have successfully completed specific core course requirements at Mount Aloysius College may continue their education in medicine at LECOM in this program of study.

Undergraduate academic requirements

  • High School Education Certificate

  • IELTS: 5.5
  • TOEFL: 61

English proficiency waivers

  • If student has completed a previous education in English can be waived.

Entry requirements

  • Submit official transcripts evaluated by a NACES organization. Freshmen will need transcripts that meet the US equivalency of a high school diploma. Transfers will need transcripts to be evaluated program by program.
  • Include a letter of recommendation. Mount Saint Mary College requires at least one letter of recommendation in English from a guidance counselor or teacher.
  • Submit a personal essay of at least 250 words in English. You may write about a life-changing event, ethical dilemma, or significant experience you’ve had, and how it impacted you.
  • Submit SAT/ACT scores or TOEFL/IELTS scores.

Once you submit the above information, you'll receive an admissions decision and scholarship notification in just a few weeks. After you've been accepted, submit your admissions deposit to save your place.
