"Humber’s International Development graduate certificate program is designed for individuals who want to see the world and make a difference within it. This program provides graduates with the skills and knowledge required to manage, develop and grow international development and disaster relief projects anywhere in the world. Graduates may find themselves in some of the most difficult environments in the world, or they may work in developed countries changing policies to make a difference in the Global South. Faculty are chosen for their field expertise and experience in international development – most continue to work with numerous international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) or United Nations agencies while teaching at Humber part time."
Admission requirements for Humber depend on your home country and your current level of education. Some programs may require additional documents such as a portfolio, writing samples, questionnaires, etc.

To be eligible apply for a bachelor's program, you must possess the equivalent of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and required courses dependent on the program.
General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE or IGSCE) with four O-level subjects; General Certificate of Education Advanced or Advanced Supplementary Levels (GCE-A or AICE or GCE-AS) with at least 2 A-levels (two AS subjects may be substituted for one A-level). For all programs that require ""Mathematics"" as a prerequisite, AS-Level Mathematics is required. A minimum grade of C is needed in required program subjects. Include transcripts for any post-secondary courses or programs completed. (English proficiency is waved with a ""C"" grade in O-level English Language.) Fees and funding
Your education is an important investment. Understand the costs associated with coming to Humber and let them help you plan your finances, from first year to your final year.
Tuition from CAD$15,263 - $17,840 per year
Scholarships are divided between three semester intakes each year (winter, summer, fall). Applications will be considered based on academics, community involvement, reference letters and statement of interest.
Bachelor's degree scholarships
Undergraduate Scholarships - for students entering a four year bachelor's, with no previous post-secondary studies, who have the required TOEFL / IELTS and will begin within less than 12 months of completing high school:
- GPA 95% or higher - $4,000 renewable
- GPA 90-94.9% - $3,500 renewable
- GPA 85 - 89.9% - $2,000 renewable
- GPA 75-79.9% - $1,500 not renewable
There are a very limited number of scholarships. Eligibility is based on students high school academic achievement.
