Particularly in demand are experts who know and comprehend not only the business of personnel and the latest trends but also understand the complex business world. Internationally.


    Studying Human Resources at CBS is part of the International Business Studies where you will specialize in Human Resources Management and Leadership. Lectures are held in English. In semesters 3 to 6 you acquire HR expertise, starting with the fundamentals: recruiting employees, further education, personnel development and remuneration and reward management. Psychology and sociology? Also part of the curriculum. Starting with the 4th semester, you will apply your knowledge in a business project or case study. Here, you work on real or realistic projects and present these afterwards. You will also learn how digital talent management is currently changing the entire profession, which employer branding strategies are successful, and how important work-life balance can be."

    Undergraduate academic requirements

    • Secondary school completion and university qualification or full entrance qualification to an applied sciences university. Equivalent qualifications from schools abroad are recognized accordingly. Examples

      A-Levels, General Certificate of Education, or IB Diploma. In case you do not already possess a school leaving certificate you can submit the previous report.

    Graduate

    English proficiency waiver

    • Student native language is English
    • CBS language test within an interview (via Skype)
    • Provide evidence of a six month stay abroad in an English speaking country
    • Prove parts of studies in English (examination of individual case)

    CBS scholarship

    The CBS scholarship is offered to international and EU students who attend our university as we believe in the potential of young people and want to support them in shaping their future.

    • Amount: Up to 25% on tuition fees
    • Requirements: There are 2 different types of scholarships that have different eligibility requirements
    • Best Performer scholarship: based on your high school GPA
    • Social Engagement scholarship: based on your social commitment e.g. voluntary work

    CBS International Business School Scholarship

    CBS also offers a scholarship for international students (Bachelor, Master, MBA) who intend to study at CBS International Business School in Germany.

    • Amount: one time €3,000 scholarship of the total tuition fee (€1,500 for MBA FastTrack)
    • Requirements: A separate application for this scholarship is not required, the eligibility will automatically be checked during the application process, provided that all required documents have been submitted.
