"The Media Entertainment Arts Department encompasses all of the disciplines related to designing, creating and producing content for use in various media platforms including film, broadcast, games, and online. Through the application of theory, students receive a hands-on approach to understanding and using various processes and methods relating to individual areas within the department. Students have the opportunity to take a multi-disciplinary approach to their education, allowing for customization of the degree plans. By developing sequential classes and labs for media, entertainment, and design industrial arts, Media Entertainment Arts will link current industry skills and foundation Career and Technical Education standards to all aspects of study."

Undergraduate academic requirements

  • Proof of completion of secondary education/high school. This may include a graduation certificate, diploma, or transcript.

If the student has not yet completed the secondary education, but will do so before classes start at College of the Canyons, they may send us a letter from your school principal telling us that you are on track for completion.
