Waivers

  • The student comes from a native English country. Applicants must be citizens or and have resided for two years immediately prior to application for admission in the following English-speaking countries only.
  • Minimum 1 year of higher education studies in English
  • The student completed Freshman Composition at an accredited college in the US with a grade of C or better
  • The student completed at least 2 years and graduated from US high school

Undergraduate

  • UW-Whitewater evaluates undergraduate transcripts in-house.
  • Each country has different requirements on the completion of high school however the GPA required is 2.75/4

Graduate

To qualify for admission to a degree program in good standing, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
  • At least 3.00 overall grade point average in all graduate coursework completed at UW-Whitewater, with no grades of I or P pending; and an overall undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.75 on a 4.00 scale, or at least a 2.90-grade point average in the last half of the undergraduate degree program, or at least 12 credits of graduate work completed on a regular grade basis at UW-Whitewater, or a master's or higher degree at a regionally accredited institution at the corresponding graduate level.
